We stayed for 4 nights, on entering our room we found no bath towels supplied only hand towels, on contacting the front desk some were brought to our room within 5 minutes. All the bedding was very creased, not a particularly good look. The tap in the bathroom was broken you couldn’t adjust from hot to cold, so it was just warm whatever. The breakfast was very good a nice variety. It was situated very well to see all the sites

First class, conveniently located, professional
Warmly welcomed, early check-in, friendly helpful staff, easy walk to the Metro, felt safe in the neighborhood, a minor problem was resolved immediately by maintenance. Only recommendation is to have a dedicated bartender at the lobby bar through the evening opening until later. First class hotel.

We arrived at 3PM for Check In and there was no clean room for us to go up to. We had to wait for more than 1 hour in the lobby (me and my whole family), tired, so that the cleaning could start and be completed. That was unpleasant. The breakfast is good, but the service is poor. The breakfast attendants are not very polite and friendly. The room was clean and well maintained (except for the bathroom door which wasn't closing). The location is perfect for business and vacation.

Hotel is in good location for Washington dc. Plenty of restaurants pretty much every street block. Good location for bars and nightclubs that are a ton of fun no matter which one you visit. Few good spots for coffee and convenient stores.The hotel is pretty nice and the people working always with a smile. You can ask anyone at hotel like the best restaurants or great bars and what going on for the night they all tell you their favorite options and good description of whatever you ask. Everyone is very friendly in hotel and on the streets. They also have different buffet breakfast every morning for the guest to enjoy. My room was spacious and clean but only thing they didn't clean everyday or make beds and had to ask for towels which isnt a big deal but its what i like when i go away. I would recommend this hotel to my friends or to people who would ask me. Its not overpriced and there small restaurant was good. On the top floor they had a bar and snack food with chairs to sit back and relax. So if anyone looking to head to Washington dc check this hotel out. But make sure its close to any place you looking to go see. The neighborhood doesn't seem bad so there no need to watch your back. Always only carry the cash u need for the night and maybe put your wallet in front pocket. You can walk anywhere or there is electric scooters you can ride for a price just need to download the application to your phone. Thank you for reading my opinion and please hit the like button

Location wise was great. But parking/valet service wasn’t great. Couldn’t checkin early or checkout late which put a damper on the trip. Ended up costing us more in parking fees and parking tickets and we drove all night. So it was not a great experience. The Hotel itself was nice and some of the staff were friendly. The room itself clean and comfortable.

Terrible terrible terrible Got to the front Desk around 9:30 pm 7/9/24, sat there waiting for someone to help me for 20mins. Finally shows up. Get checked in to the room, go up and settle in only to find out A/C is not working. Go back down and ask about it. Got told engineers have been working on it, no other solutions no room change nothen. So here we are a 78 degree room that we paid $400 and some change for with no solution. Not very happy with the stay and will not stay again.

Hotel was over booked the first night we got to DC and they graciously put us in another hotel and said we can come have breakfast for the inconvenience which was awesome! When we got to the hotel the next day the hotel was great! The room accommodated all 6 of us perfectly and comfortably. When we went to the White House they let us leave the luggage with them until the tour was over and then we could easily catch our plane. The breakfast was amazing each morning and the staff were very helpful and kind.

Miserable stay at the Hyatt Place
The a/c was not working when we arrived, and it was never fixed during our 3-day stay. The temperature in our room never dipped below 85, and it peaked above 90. The person manning the front desk when we arrived, Eddie, refused to provide us with a refund (we had paid for the stay in advance), refused to provide any written documentation of the condition of the hotel, and was rude and evasive in both English and Spanish. The room itself had a very odd layout. Much of the furniture was too big for the room, and there was just too much furniture. The room felt very cluttered. Because the bed is jammed against a structural column, you have to crawl across the bed to be able to open or close one set of blinds. To reach the other set of blinds requires squeezing between a huge dresser and the aforementioned column. The positioning of the lighting is also strange; neither the entrance hallway nor the bed has any direct overhead lighting. The seating area for the complementary breakfast would benefit from a deep cleaning to remove food stains and even dried food debris. The only two positive things I have to say about the hotel are (1) the bed was very comfortable and (2) the water pressure in the shower was excellent. But I wouldn’t wish my experience at this hotel upon anyone other than my worst enemies, and I will probably never stay at another Hyatt property.
