Overall the hotel is good, clean, nice staff and professional service. However I wouldn't recommend for family with young children. The cafe downstairs is noisy, people there get drunk during the night time.

Excellent location for access to National Mall. Several Metro stops nearby for access to all other parts of DC. Hotel is beautifully designed and staff could not have been friendlier. Looking forward to recommending and to staying again.

The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The planning of the room didn’t take into account the temporary storage of any items in the suitcase, except hanging clothes. The closet was plenty large. There were no drawers to temporarily put socks or underwear, etc. (Except 2 tiny drawers in the bedside stands) The in-house bar was exceptional, and the in-house dining was good.

Quiet, clean, nice staff except the guy outside hotel at the entry. My husband got our car from the nearby garage and wanted to park in front to pickup me and our daughter plus luggages that nobody help us carry. Well this guy said 1st no, you can't park here, then after he told him he has to pick us up he said he shoud park further from the entry. He wouldn't have block the entry and he would have parked as everybody else did. Such a bad experience. I dont think that reflex the hotel that has so many positives. Like we had an excellent experience at the Caffè. There was an extremely nice girl serving us at the bar. And she did delicious non alcoholic cocktails for me and my daughter and felt welcomed.
