I didnā€™t like having to wait 45mins to be able to check in when I called to make sure the room was available which it wasnā€™t. Having a drink spilt over you and no apology or offer to assist with cleaning up.

Hi there, When arrived,I liked it and I extended my stay. Soon after, I realized that it was not a good idea! The receptionists did not communicate well about me staying longer. I was promised a nicer room for my extended time and I was given another one! The swimming pool was not working ! The mattress had too many stains!! Thanks Heleni Lewis

We always stay in the Intercon when visiting Wellington. Last time we were unhappy because there was no notification of extensive renovations which meant the restaurant was closed and the unwindowed room they offered as an alternative was less than satisfactory. This time we only had the opportunity to visit the club lounge where the service and drinks were fine, but the usual high standard food offering was no where to be seen And was very disappointing worth the premium paid!
