This property is stunning . The breakfast is excellent. Cleanliness is top class . Staff are welcoming and very pleasant people. Grounds are kept immaculate by the grounds staff - who deserve a special mention for their excellent efforts . My minor negative is that , although the evening meals are excellent and tasty , the menu needs at least one “ Today’s special” on it that changes Daily .. as after 2 nights we had both used our options up on the very restricted choice menu - and so we had to eat out in the locality to try for something different and so not repeat ourselves.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Albrighton Hall hotel for our anniversary. The first night we ate in the bar which was delicious, the bar and restaurant staff were especially helpful with our dietary requirements even though they were extremely busy. All the staff were very friendly and polite and helped make our celebrations perfect. Our room was very clean and comfortable and great to have a free large car park. Many thanks.

Nice grounds and big rooms.
Very large room with separate desk area. Floors were very creaky so not good if you need to get up in the middle of the night without making noise! Breakfast was good, you could ask for vegan sausages. Disappointed on my last day they had no mushrooms so I could only eat baked beans and tomatoes from the hot buffet (plus the vegan sausages I asked for every day!) Would be nice if there was more fresh fruit too and non-dairy milk out (I presume you could ask for it).

Top notch 4star hotel
Superb hotel and grounds and the pool and spa facilities were excellent. Great food and drink in the bar at not too extortionate prices. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here after a wedding so didn’t really need much from the hotel just a place to rest our heads. The room was spacious, clean and comfy. We did have a visit to the spa the following morning to help our sore heads, I would say the spa needs a bit of a refit, it was a little smelly in the steam room area and some of the rooms had a little mould in them. Breakfast was delicious and service was great.

Lovely place, gorgeous setting and staff couldn’t do more for you. Only slight complaint was bed was very firm so not best night sleep. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Overall felt very cared for and treated.

The welcome on arrival was warm, friendly and professional. The room was a good size and clean. We are in the restaurant on Friday night, the food was excellent and staff friendly and professional. The outside area where the tables are situated overlooking the grounds was disappointing, with several used glasses and ashtrays full of cigarette butts. This was a theme that continued throughout our stay. The bar staff were friendly, but clearly overwhelmed with orders and needed more focus on those waiting to be acknowledged. The worst experience of our stay was checking out, the lady on reception was absent whilst I waited for 10 minutes, I had to walk back to the breakfast room to ask the staff to find her. When she arrived, there was no apology and her demeanour was frosty at best, lacking any customer service skills.

Not great but not too bad
The reception was always left unattended and on check we found that the receptionist wasn’t the friendliest person and came across rude. There were cobwebs and spiders in the corridors and rooms. The room overall was quite pleasant and spacious but the shower was a low trickle of water and not great at all. The location is beautiful and in good reach of most heritage attractions. Overall not a bad stay. Just a shame about the receptionist staff and condition of cleanliness/ shower.
