This is my go-to place to stay while in Edmonton. Always clean, always quiet and the staff are absolutely amazing. When you find a place like this, there is no reason to book elsewhere :)

The staff and service we received from the front desk and lounge were awesome. They were friendly and very helpful. However, the service we received in the restaurant at breakfast was very disappointing. The lady did not have a smile and looked like it was the last place she wanted to be. To put it nicely, you couldn’t complain about the service as they were really was none. The food was very poor quality. (majority of the pancakes were rock hard cause they had been sitting so long) We ordered orange juice and after she brought it to us, she mentioned that we would have to pay $3.50 for it because we didn’t get up and get it ourselves from the buffet. Otherwise, yhe location was perfect and the rooms were decent for the price we paid. I would say more of a 2-3 star.

This is our regular go to hotel in Edmonton. First time with our dog. Staff is friendly and professional. Good breakfasts. The evening restaurant has good food and again staff is friendly and personable. Rooms are spacious.

Royal Hotel has always been our hotel of choice in West Edmonton. The only complaint I have is that you can hear everything in nearby rooms. Not good soundproofing. The rooms are great and staff are always friendly. Good breakfast.
