Bad first impression but comfortable bed and A/C.
Great price for the location. Convenient to TD Garden and Quincy market, but a sketchy walk after dark. I walked all over downtown and only felt uncomfortable during the 3 blocks to the hotel. Currently a 1/2 walk detour to Quincy market. 1st impression was that I made a booking mistake. Lobby and location do not appear to be impressive or convenient. If you’re looking for a cup of coffee that’s not from a Keurig, this is not your place. Breakfast did not appeal considering the options in the area, nor the hotel restaurant. The room was comfortable, but not what I expected. The only time I was greeted by the desk was at check in, and I had to initiate the greeting. Helpful when asking, but nothing offered. If you want to save $150 a night, stay here. If any of these things are important to you, get a better room for more money. I would have.

The first room we were scheduled to be in had not been cleaned. The room we were moved into was a double instead of a King. This wasn't a horrible problem, but we had to move rooms again the next morning. Again not really a problem. However, every time that we had to go to the front desk it would take 30-45 mins for them to figure out in the system what was going on. Overall the hotel was good. the customer service is rough.

The rooms at the hotel, while very small, were clean and were maintained daily by staff. The hotel does have a small restaurant and bar - but it seems like they were never open during our stay or never had guests using these services. Every time we inquired, we were told the bar and/or restaurant were closed but that we could use room service, instead. The hotel is convenient to TD Garden and the North Station, but the only establishments close by were more bar-type establishments. The overall location, though, was convenient to getting around on foot. The front desk staff was friendly.
