Good convenient stay
Hotel was great, clean, convenient for the harbour, well maintained and nice ambiance in the lobby and restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the health suite and pool. The only things we noticed was that the air con unit wasn’t working in our room, typically on a really hot night but they did supply a fan which was fine, and the kitchen took a long time with our dinner order but the staff fixed it immediately and were very apologetic. The on site parking is £5/night and if full, they give you a permit for street parking.

We arrived on Saturday afternoon. There was no parking on Site, and we had to park on the street. The first night cost me 13h50. Only after enquiring about the parking was I informed about their voucher system. In the first room, where we were given the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. The TV also did not work. The reception then moved us to another room. Again, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. the bathroom window was also screwed shut so that it could not be opened. We were told that the maintenance only worked during the week and that they could do nothing about it.

Met up with friends for a couple of nights and the hotel was perfect for this. Was lucky to have a sea view and the breakfast was excellent. Will definitely use the hotel again. Bonus was the pool.

We chose this hotel for its location to the ferry terminal & being dog friendly. Our room was very good with a view overlooking the sea, breakfast is buffet style & very good quality. If you have a dog, the hotel is close to some easily accessible green space & a very handy fenced in dog training area.

Was okay for a 2 night trip but room was very small, breakfast was good and so was dinner although quite expensive. Staff very friendly, beds hard but comfy, pillows weren’t so comfy - would stay again for a short trip as very close to hovercraft to aisle of Wight.

Two Day Portsmouth Visit
The hotel is a convenient short walk to Portsmouth and Southsea attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive on Reception and the bar area and restaurant. A good choice of food and drinks are available at breakfast, throughout the day and dinner at competitive prices. Parking on site is limited and at a cost, additional parking is available roadside with a ticket from reception. The room was adequate, clean but tired and required some maintenance. We had no hot water in the bathroom hand basin or shower the first morning but this was resolved by the maintenance staff through the Reception by the time we returned in the afternoon. On the whole a satisfactory place to stay for a few days. We would stay again if we were to visit the area.

Good room, good parking, good location. Experience very comfortable until we went to the dining room: Not enough staff at dinner and we waited ONE HOUR for our meal! The same at breakfast; very few staff. Then there was NO sausages, no marmalade, no jugs for milk... terrible for £16.99. We have stayed here before but this is the first time we were disappointed - only in the dining room.
