Hotel was lovely, staff were very courteous and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Our room on the 4th floor was quiet, and it was really good to be able to open a window properly. Bed was extremely comfortable,and room service breakfast was a real treat

Good location, nice room, nice spa. They made a mistake with the bill which I had to come back to sort out which was annoying. I went on a Sunday so it was a good price, but I think the Friday and Saturday night rates are overpriced.

The staff were absolutely amazing. They offered a range of services during our stay and were so welcoming. If I stay in Chester again I will definitely be staying here. The parking makes everything so much easier too

This is a very beautiful hotel. The room was large the curtains wallpaper so gorgeous ! The dining room was great, David at the bar went out if his way to find the cider that was my favorite, Aspall. The English breakfast, generous was the best that I have had in the past 2 weeks of traveling across UK & Scotland. You will love being here. Kieran checked us into our room and was helpful. The parking was way in the shopping mall on level 2

Stunning hotel with friendly staff
Stunning hotel with very friendly staff who were always professional. A great stay and lovely facilities- the only issue was the breakfast which for a 5* hotel is limited and I resent having to pay extra for a hot breakfast- in my opinion it should be standard at this level of hotel. Otherwise the perfect stay. Special shout out to the doorman who seems to be a bit of a legend in Chester and is incredibly welcoming and friendly to all passers by.

Grovener hotel - Chester.
Great 2 night stay at this hotel. Started with a complementary upgrade to a deluxe room. Great size - clean and fresh while maintaining the classic period looks and feel. Breakfast was excellent (I recommend the kippers). Staff all attentive and pleasant - nothing too much for them. We had dinner at the bistro, and while it was very nice, it was pretty pricey for what it was. Especially as there are plenty of excellent restaurants around town providing the same quality of food at a fraction of the price. This was the only negative of our stay. The hotel is positioned in the centre of the old city. A prime location to see the bulk of what Chester has to offer. One thing we liked was that we were never far away and could pop in for a 10/20 minute rest when required. I'd certainly recommend spending the little bit extra for what this hotel offers. We hope to be back soon. First class.

The Chester Grosvenor is an extremely comfortable and conveniently situated hotel right in the centre of the city. The staff members we met were all pleasant and helpful, our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, as well as being attractive. We would certainly choose to stay at the Grosvenor again, should we be returning to Chester.
