Great location and staff.
Stayed as a family in a room to cater for 4. Hotel grounds amazing and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast offering was great and accommodated a food intolerance pls catered for a late night by permitting taking breakfast up to room. Only downside is the bedrooms are tired and the sofa bed, which was to sleep 2 children (teenagers) is fairly compact and impacts a lot in the room when opened. That said, would defo stay again. In fact, we’ve just rebooked.

Great hotel, not great restaurant.
Hotel lovely, rooms on top floor very hot, beds so comfy and bed linen fabulous. Unfortunately food was awful in the Marco Pierre White restaurant, staff quite rude. Especially a young red headed girl, who had been in a foul mood all evening, tutting at lots of customers. Not the way to be treated for £130 meal.

Lovely overnight stay with kids
The hotel is in a lovely setting. It's mainly comprised of a modern block and older section. The two look a bit disjointed but that's fine (I'm not here to comment on the architecture!) The spa is in a separate building that you have to walk to, but that didn't end up being much of a problem anyway and it was sunny and dry outside, and the changing rooms were good . The staff were excellent. The male receptionist (I didn't get a name), and the lady who served us in the pizza restaurant were absolutely fantastic with our little kids. Thank you so much. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star review was because the room was smaller than I was expecting from the photos. Plus we felt a little uncomfortable in the breakfast room with the kids. The room was quite dark and quiet, so our little kids stood out like a sore thumb! They also didn't seem to have kid friendly cups, cutlery or anything to entertain the kids (but the pizza restaurant did). So these little touches would have been great. The pool was fab though and the kids had an amazing time, so we left really happy. Thank you!

Hotel ok, but let down by the charge point!
Hotel and staff I could not fault, only let down was when I went to use the charge point for my car, the bushes next to the bay were so overgrown I had great difficulty parking my car, even had to climb out of the passenger side.

Nice Hotel - Great gym but rip off parking
Stayed for business and I have stayed here a few times. The main reason I stay is for the gym. It is much better equipped than most hotel gyms. I do think it is a bit much to charge hotel residents £7.50 for parking per night. If you are staying and paying a pretty penny for the privilege then the car parking should be included. I haven't eaten at the restaurant so cannot comment on the food. Overall a nice hotel.

Our room wasn’t ready at check in time so had to wait an hour and a half to get to our room, no apology was given, you have to pay for using the hotel parking at an additional cost to the hotel stay, we had room service food which was expensive and food was not to standard. Bed was not comfortable. Overall paid extra for a five star hotel and was very disappointed, breakfast was amazing though, spa was also very good
