Beautiful hotel and grounds. Lovely staff including the spa staff. I had a lovely mini facial after using the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Really relaxing and helped me sleep well later. I also especially loved the deep blue colour in the swimming pool. Ordered the steak sandwich which came with large chunky chips and everything was delicious! Bathroom facilities were great too. I really liked the shampoo in particular. The views around the building are lovely. They also have giant outdoor chess pieces and giant drafts. I would have loved to stay there long but it was for an early airport arrival in Bristol. I really loved staying at this hotel. The reception guys were so funny and friendly too! I forgot my toothbrush and was told a fun story about when that happened to them. Things like that make hotel stays more enjoyable because the staff clearly get along and like talking to the guests. I want an excuse to go back. Thank you lovely staff :).

Booked this hotel last minute and couldn’t be happier with our choice, service was amazing and all very kind and happy to help, the restaurant at the hotel was lovely, good distance between place but also out of the way which was lovely. Plenty of things to do at the hotel especially when wanting to relax, was a lovely stay would definately return

It was good, staff at reception wasn’t very happy, they helped but it seamed they were annoyed at our questions… they charged us wrongly and again they got annoyed. I called several times to pay the correct amount and no one knew what I was talking about and kept saying call later, I even got a “call later I’m busy”… I gave up. Unlikely we’ll be back.

Would recommend everything apart from the very grumpy/unhelpful/borderline rude staff member who was manning reception when we arrived late last night. I would suggest that possibly hospitality should not be his chosen career path. Otherwise, very nice. Breakfast was first class.

Nothing was too much trouble. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings and great food. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful buffet style. The only small disappointment, although you are made aware of it, is the parking fee to be paid each day when you’re already paying for your stay and food and drinks etc. otherwise couldn’t fault it.

Would not stay again - very average especially for what you pay. We put on ground floor - called floor zero and we had delivery lorry every morning- first one at 6.15 and Sunday morning at 8.15.

We were really looking forward to staying at this hotel, especially since it was the first trip my sisters, my mum, and I had together. The pictures looked gorgeous online, and we were excited. When we arrived, the scenery was just as beautiful as in the photos. However, our experience quickly went downhill. At check-in, we had to pay separately for parking, which we found absurd. The check-in process itself was ordinary, not particularly welcoming. We received our keys and headed to our two twin rooms. On the way, we noticed the corridors were quite dirty and in need of a good vacuum! One of our room doors was left slightly open, which was strange, but we didn't think much of it at the time. Later, we found a dirty towel with makeup stains in the bathroom, making us question the cleanliness of the room. The view from our rooms was of the car park, not the beautiful scenery we had seen in the pictures, which was really disappointing. Additionally, the toilet flush in the other room was not working properly. While the restaurant and breakfast were nice, the breakfast area was small and got very crowded. The spa was fully booked during our stay, and its appearance was not pleasing. The pool was small and always crowded, and the yoga classes were all booked up. There wasn't much to do! Overall, it was not a place I would return to or recommend. It simply wasn't worth the almost £780 we paid for a two-night stay for four people! Very disappointed

Disliked: Room comfort
For the money the stay was very poor.
Couldn’t reach reception by car ( for my disabled wife.) due to cars totally blocking that entrance. Stayed 2 nights and room was not serviced on day 2 so ran out of tea and milk. Or mattress was terrible and needed replacing.

A nice hotel stay for one night, the bar area was not very clean for saying how much thay wnated to charge for the food. The pool did not feel the friendlyest of places but it was a nice room with balcony
