This used to be a good hotel. On the day I visited the hotel was not providing lunch nor dinner – this is amazing for a best western hotel and not as advertised. In my room, the television did not show BBC, and neither of the bedside lamps were working In my room

Nice and quiet. Pleasant stay however just the cleanliness wasn't up to scratch. Mould on the window curtains and around the bath area.

Unfortunately, we were given a room right next to the elevator lobby; which meant foot traffic for a good portion of the early hours. Elevator noise also an issue.

Poor experience for the price.
I stayed in one of the more expensive executive rooms. Check in was friendly, but that was where the good ended. Halogens in the bedroom and bathroom were flickering and strobing. No electrical sockets near the side tables. Loud thumping music from the pub downstairs until 01.20am on a week night - seemingly for the cleanup staff as it closed at 11am. Stains on the carpets in several places which also looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed. Avoid and find an alternative.

I recommend the Indian veggie food, which was great, but the hotel has seen better days. First impressions was a pile of fly-tipped furniture and junk in the car park, and then I discovered that there was no hot water in my room (and nothing could be done about it). Desk staff had no authority to offer anything more than a free drink.

Absolutely filthy, staff eating lunch sitting on stairs. No hot water. Stair carpet loose. When i told receptionist we had no hot water he just smiled, they are obviously used to all the complaints, i heard 4 other couples complaing too.

A very disappointing stay
Difficult to report this. The First room we were in was Next To the Pub which had a constant bass going. The Bathroom sink didn’t drain and the Lights flickered . The Next room was better positioned but the Lights In the bathroom also flickered all the time. The Sink was cracked. The bed was old plus it dipped in the middle we ended up sleeping on top of each other, whilst I love my wife dearly it was Very uncomfortable and the air con barely worked. Both rooms were in need of some tlc and a coat of paint. The communal areas were nice and the staff friendly. The garbage area was a mess the outside area covered in rubbish and empty bottles and the car park lights were flickering, overall that’s a lot of bulbs that need replacing.

This Hotel should not be open yet it's a work in progress. Rubbish everywhere, this site won't allow me to upload photos of it. There is no food available at the hotel it comes from the pub next door. I ordered a pint which was warm and cost £5.90. The rooms smell, are unclean and need refurbishment.
