Take a walk around the Gardens Point Campus to observe a unique blend of modern and historic architecture. QUT has existed at this site in some form or other since 1849, but only achieved university status in 1988.

If you are keen to experience more of QUT, head to the Kelvin Grove Campus to check out the Creative Industries Precinct. Experimental movies, digital installations and arts festivals are showcased here at various times of the year. This campus is about 1.2 miles (2 kilometers) north of the city and is accessible by public buses.
