Families, as well as surfers and golfers, love the former hippie hang out of Coolum Beach. Nature lovers will get very excited by Mount Coolum. This 25-million-year-old laccolith (that’s just a fancy word for a handsomely shaped rock) is covered in native bushland. It doesn't take that long to get to the top and the views are sensational. In town, Point Perry is great for sunrise vistas too.

This is my favourite beach town in all of QLD. Close to Mt Coolum and Emu Mountain, you can spend time taking in the natural beauty on inland Sunshine Coast, and you can spend days exploring the surrounding coastlines and beaches.
