Coolum Beach
Coolum Beach is where the Pacific Ocean greets the Coral Sea. It's not just a beach though. It’s a boutique suburb of the Sunshine Coast and home to a large community.
Families, as well as surfers and golfers, love the former hippie hang out of Coolum Beach. Nature lovers will get very excited by Mount Coolum. This 25-million-year-old laccolith (that’s just a fancy word for a handsomely shaped rock) is covered in native bushland. It doesn't take that long to get to the top and the views are sensational. In town, Point Perry is great for sunrise vistas too.
