Chinatown, Vancouver
Vancouver’s Chinatown is authentic and historic, yet experimental and modern.
For over a century this neighbourhood has thrived, and it’s not hard to see why. It has continued to maintain its cultural integrity while also welcoming new members to the block, allowing fresh ideas (such as cocktails in heritage buildings) to pop up. The tranquillity of the traditional gardens makes for a great space to gaze into ponds and ponder what you’ll have for lunch. Chinatown is charming both night and day, with plenty to see and do. But let’s be honest, your tummy is calling and all it wants is some dim sum.
