Mission District
With vibrant street art and a freakishly sunny microclimate compared to the rest of foggy San Fran, everything seems brighter in the Mission District.
Walking through the Clarion Alley Mural Project in San Francisco’s Mission District is like passing through a street art kaleidoscope. Everything from political statements to celebrity portraits grace these walls, but this colourful alley isn’t the only reason to visit The Mission. Mexican restaurants serve up something called the Mission burrito; the Alta California Mission is both stately and mysterious; and there are heaps of live music venues for you to check out.
