Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark and Resort
Although it is home to one of the longest water rides in the world and attracts visitors from all over the world, this amusement park in Texas maintains its homey family-owned spirit.
Embrace your inner daredevil on some of the world’s longest and fastest water rides or enjoy lazy rivers and splash pools at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark.
Thrills are in plentiful supply at Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Take a ride on the Master Blaster, an uphill water coaster or careen through the park on The Falls, one of the world’s longest water park rides. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels might be hours from the Atlantic, but visitors will feel like they’re at the ocean when they ride on the Torrent Wave River Ride.
When Schlitterbahn Waterpark first opened in New Braunfels in 1979, it consisted of just four water slides. It has since grown to be one of Texas’s most popular tourist destinations and showcases world-renowned attractions. Despite its popularity, the park is not overly commercial and offers free parking, boogie boards and life vests.
Grab a bite to eat at one of the food kiosks, where you can enjoy pizza and burgers. Ice cream cone and lemonade stands are scattered throughout the park and provide refreshments to cope with the heat. If you’re on a budget, bring in your own supplies and head for one of the picnic areas.
Add an element of luxury to your stay and rent a private cabana or relax on the lazy river for the afternoon. Kids will feel at home in one of the resort’s children's parks and adults can supervise from the comfort of a wading pool or beach chair.
The Resort at Schlitterbahn offers accommodation that aligns with any budget. Whether you are visiting as a couple or a large family, the hotel rooms, suites, condos and cottages are comfortable and convenient. Give your family a unique experience at Treehaus Luxury Suites, elevated cabins that sit directly above the falls.
