Laundry machines broken. Ice machine broken. Pool closed. Used ice machine on 6th floor - Hallway was like a sauna. No exhaust fans in bathrooms. We had 2 rooms. One had a strong marijuana smell. We informed the front desk and they somehow rectified the problem while we went out for dinner. Kudos to staff for that!

Ramada Cumberland stay.
Staying in the Cumberland area overnight as part of a longer trip. I am a train buff and normally request an upper floor room with a view of the railroad tracks that pass nearby whenever I stay at this hotel. For whatever reason, the usual room location was unavailable and I was given a 3rd floor room at the opposite end of the building and the view out the window was almost totally obscured by trees. Room was comfortable, clean, had microwave cable TV and mini-fridge which served my needs well. When I departed the hotel early the following morning, I noted perhaps 18 vehicles in one lot and my car was the only vehicle in the big lot meaning the hotel was very lightly booked. I found it puzzling that there were no rooms available on the end of the building with better trackside view based on this. There are at least several rooms total on a few floors on the one end of the building that offer the view I wanted but somehow none were available despite the hotel parking lot being very light of guest vehicles. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps they are short on cleaning staff and take rooms out of service until they can be cleaned.

The toilet had content of the last occupant and area around the sink was grimy. I asked for a room away from the railway and upon entering the room a train arrive, blowing it's whistle and rattling the room. Ramada's reputation is not what it used to be.

I’ve stayed here numerous times. Miss the breakfast selections they use to have, omelette station & waffle griddle were amongst my families fave. The staff is very friendly and only cost 20$ to extend your checkout to 1pm. That was very helpful last stay when the kids were slow moving lol! I don’t know why people mark it low on cleanliness. I’ve never found an issue and I expect a clean room upon arrival and during stay. Anything you need like toiletries that you may have forgot to pack, just call the desk and they will help accommodate.

Its a really old property and it shows. I was hoping that with Wyndham buying it out, that theyd have put some money into a renovation since i last stayed here like 4 or 5 years ago, but no such luck. Its a place to sleep but not much else. Bed is comfy and the water pressure is good and the rooms are sized reasonably.

This hotel is run in n makeshift fashion where everything is held together barely by homebrew repair and scotch tape. It is not a hotel worthy of any brand name, even Ramada. The food was terrible and doled out in the smallest possible portions to keep costs down. And yet the cost was like a normal branded hotel…
