Every detail of this property has been tastefully considered, right down to an extensive library of books and original artworks. The beautiful Jarrah floors, complemented by cozy throw rugs, set the scene for a warm and inviting atmosphere. The artwork on the walls will transport you back to a time when life felt simpler, adding a nostalgic charm to the space. Yet, including smart technology brings a welcome touch of modern convenience.
The kitchen is a true homage to the early 1960s—the era when the house was originally built—complete with a built-in laundry for added convenience. Every element has been thoughtfully chosen to enhance your comfort.
Important Note: The bathroom is an ensuite off the main bedroom, which may affect the privacy of a third guest. Therefore, the property is best suited for small families or couples.

The owner resides next door, separated by a secure brick wall, ensuring your stay remains completely private. With over 10 years of experience as an Airbnb host, I prioritize your anonymity and comfort.

I’m typically available next door should you require any assistance during your stay. If I’m away, a dedicated property manager will be on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Conveniently located, the property offers a range of nearby dining options to enhance your stay. Directly across the road, you’ll find a cozy café serving excellent coffee and light lunches during the workweek. Just 200 metres away, is a cute vegan café called The Run Club, specialising in healthy light food options for runners (who run the joint). They also sell the best artisan sour dough bread directly from the markets. Further down the road in the opposite direction at Villeroy’s restaurant a superb dinner service, along with breakfast and lunch, are on offer at very reasonable prices. For something more upscale, ORSO, a new à la carte establishment on Kensington Road, rivals the best of Melbourne and Sydney dining. For a more casual experience, their sister café/deli, Wilmots, offers a delightful alternative. And then there are two great pubs also close by, The Britannia and The Colonist which also have fabulous dining rooms with pub prices. The Parade—just a 20-minute walk away—boasts one of the finest selections of restaurants and cafés in Adelaide.
Less than 250 metres from Victoria Parklands, the property offers a unique advantage during race season—you can either join the excitement in person or watch from the comfort of home while soaking in the atmosphere. The Parklands, once a horse racing track, have been transformed into a scenic wetlands trail, perfect for a morning walk or jog.
For those who wish to explore the city, the property is ideally situated between the vibrant Norwood Parade and the cultural attractions of Adelaide’s city centre. Whether you're interested in the Museum, Art Gallery, Adelaide Zoo, the Convention Centre, Rundle Mall shopping, or the scenic River Torrens and its surrounding parklands, all are within easy walking distance.
For the more adventurous, free bike hire is available courtesy of the city council, allowing you to cycle along designated off-road trails to the beach. Additionally, the famous wine regions of the Barossa and Clare Valleys to the north, as well as McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula to the south, are perfect for day trips.
