Traditional Portuguese Home Within Walking Distance To The Beach, With Wifi.

Welcome to Sao Martinho do Porto located on the "Silver Coast" in Portugal. Located about 50 minutes to an hour north of Lisbon. This a great getaway from the hustle and bustle unless you come in August when the beach and Boardwalk restaurants fill up with life and Portuguese culture. Friendly family oriented safe town with a beautiful lagoon shaped beach that lets out into the Atlantic ocean. Beautiful scenery surrounds this town everywhere you go, not to mention all of the great neighboring towns to go visit like Nazare, Alcobaca, and not to mention the old village/castle in Obidos, Caldas da Raina, and Fatima.

Inside the apartment you will find a clean apartment filled with traditional Portuguese decor and furniture. Some new updates that have been recently been done are the wood floors have been refinished in the bedrooms/hallway/living area, both bathrooms have been renovated in the last two years which adds a modern twist. Brand new dishwasher has just been installed in the kitchen, new 32 inch tv in the living room. Entire apartment has been recently painted. There is a bbq grill outside that you may have access to during your stay, as well as a private driveway if you choose to rent a car or bring your own. Wifi is available if needed, options available.

Very nicely proportioned apartment, lovely location and easy walking distance of beach and local amenities. The beach is awesome and a safe place to swim. Plenty to see and do within easy driving distance and the weather was good so overall a lovely break.

Gracious and attentive host at a great location
Sao Martinho is a jewel of a town and this place is close walking distance to everything. When the sun’s out, you couldn’t ask for a better place. Great yard with parking. Since it rained quite a bit during our stay, it dampened our visit. Again, we went during the off-season. Scott is very attentive and accommodating. Will go back to this place.

This location is perfect to explore Peniche, Obidos, Fatima, and Nazare with a car. The accommodations were very clean, large, and well appointed. Scott and Maria were a delight and very helpful. We hope to return someday.

Nous avons passé 2 superbes semaines. L emplacement du logement est idéal pour accéder à pied à la plage, les restaurants, bars et commerces de proximité. La casa está cerca de la playa a la que se llega muy fácil. Tiene de todo lo que puedes necesitar, la cocina tiene mucho menaje y está totalmente equipada. Puedes aparcar el coche dentro, con lo que te olvidas del aparcamiento. Hay una pequeña tienda con lo necesario muy cerca. Los dueños son muy agradables y atentos. Hemos pasado muy buenas vacaciones

A sra Maria foi uma excelente anfitriã, quer na forma como nos recebeu quer durante a estadia, estando sempre atenta para que nada nos faltasse. Sempre disponível para dar indicações e sugestões. A casa muito limpa e muito agradável, com tudo o que era necessário. O percurso até à praia é fácil, demorando cerca de 10 minutos a pé. O facto de a habitação ter estacionamento facilitou muito, pois durante o mês de agosto não é fácil arranjar um lugar em S. Martinho do Porto.

Grande maison à étage dont les propriétaires occupent le rdc. Les pièces sont grandes et agréables. A 10' à pied accès à la fameuse plage de sao martinho, si agréable pour les enfants. Côté culturel, proximité des 3 monastères classés à l'UNESCO. Maria est adorable et donne de bons conseils.
