An excellent small accommodation. Well maintained for its size. Clean, comfortable twin beds. Attentive staff. Many restaurants steps from the front door. Secure entry and exit. Everything is good closed to everything including tram, train station central and walkable. The only thing I don’t like is no hair dryer to dry my hair. I can’t wash my hair because of that issue. I’m out of the country for vacation and not expected to bring a hair dryer with me. So it will be nice to have at least a hair dryer in the room.

I opted this property due to its nice reviews and ignoring negative reviews. I found that the issue of sizes of rooms and toilets are common in Amsterdam in most of the best and historic areas. But during stay I observed that’s it’s not a big issue. The hotel staff are very generous and helpful. Without a word they allowed me early stay and on my request also changed my room from ground floor to first. Usually I always prefer 5Star property but due to specific location I tried Hotel Luxor and I really didn’t made any mistake in choosing this hotel. As a solo traveller I would like to stay again. Thanx Luxer and all the staff at reception entire day and night I met.

Staff was great and location was conveniently located. Delicious complimentary snacks and coffee. The room was small but that was expected, and it was our fault for packing too much :) I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Amsterdam.
