This property was surprisingly comfortable and easy to enjoy. Outside and inside, the property was clean and new-looking. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the room was attractive and had the necessities one would expect. The.breakfast lacked food offerings, and that should be improved.

For Canadians with EV cars - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. There are four chargers on site, only two working, but NONE are available to Canadians, because the SkyCharger app IS NOT available to download for Canadian visitors. The staff was clueless how it all works. This hotel was booked specifically for a reason to charge the car overnight. But… at 11:30 pm I had to drive 20 minutes one way to a nearest Supercharger. If I knew this situation in advance, I would’ve used the same charger on a way to a hotel. But the property’s website didn’t care to mention the details. Plus, the guests have to pay to charge their cars - it’s not complimentary. That was news as well. The room was very neat and clean, but the breakfast was almost nonexistent - a few bagels, one type of cereal, juice of questionable quality, and pancakes. For that money I would have stayed in a much bet hotel closer to the city.

I immediately noticed how pristine the exterior was--not a spec of crud or trash anywhere--nice automatic open front door--inside door several luggage carts--again--NO CRUD--smelled wonderfully fresh inside--was greeted by RENEE who was a peach (which to me means nice person with a great personality & helpful). I'm a complainer--NOTHING to complain about here--nothing--loved the walk-in shower--beds very comfortable as were the pillows--the room was just the right temp when I arrived--for me anyway. If I ever catch another show at SPAC, I'll be sure to stay at Amsterdam Microtel. Loved the coffee--

Parking lot view. Hotel is nice- Renee at front desk is exceptional and definitely makes it worth staying at this property. The pancake maker in breakfast area is amazing! Every night the very string smell of pot in hallway when getting off elevator was disgusting. There was a full size bar of soap left in my shower.

Nice place, friendly and helpful staff.
Overall, very good. We had trouble finding the hotel initially; the website indicated the hotel was on highway 55 when it should have said 5S, but the clerk on duty when I called was able to direct us in from where we were, about 10 miles away. The first night everything was quiet; my wife showered in the accessible shower, which worked very well for her (she is significantly disabled) and slept well. The breakfast bar had an automatic pancake maker like nothing we had ever seen before that worked well. The bagels were extremely stale; I could not even bite into them, so I opted instead for a plain doughnut and a blueberry muffin. The second night a guest arrived about 1100h with a truck that had a modified and extremely noisy exhaust and blasted his stereo the whole time he was checking in, waking us up with the "thump thump thump" from his stereo right outside our window until he came out and moved the truck to a legal parking space elsewhere (the space where he initially parked was a handicapped space). Overall, very pleased.

Surprised hotel was sold out in Mid July!
Friendly and informative check-in. Very clean and nice looking lobby and room. The hotel was sold out on a Wednesday in July because of the Saratoga horse races.

The walls are so thin that I could hear someone in the next room snoring. We were in the hotel for four days and on three of those days the smell of marijuana in the second floor hall was overpowering.

The property is in great condition! Renee at the front desk is fabulous! She is welcoming and accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. Breakfast is perfect, coffee delicious! When in Amsterdam, we will only stay here!
