I love the smell as you go in. If you know me im into scents. Staff are very nice courteous and accommodating. The manager John Price is very responsive to questions before hand .This iminates through his staff. A good manager has good staffing. The hotel is so cozy it's old school not your average tegular hotel and feels.like home. Only downside are the squeaky floors and doors. Its so spooky. 😳It affects the guest floor below, i know i heard the guest above us. It just feels scary if you dont realize its the floor.above you making those footsteps and not your inseen guest ☺️ but no harm done. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel we had fun trip.Our first being empty nesters. We sure will come back and will recommend to my friends and family if they ever go to Naw'lins.

I only ever stay at The Old No 77!
The Old No 77 is one of NOLA’s hidden, best kept secret. It’s about 10-12 minutes walking distance from the French Quarter. The hotel is gorgeous, the dining is delicious and last but not least, the staff is always pleasant, professional and so very friendly!

It was wonderful! The rooms are way bigger than I expected and you really couldn’t hear anyone either in the hall or room next door. Provided umbrellas when it was raining, staff were kind and attentive. Everything was about within 1-2 mile walking distance, which I was totally fine with but others may not be able to do that. However Ubers are fairly cheap during day. Overall great time would definitely stay there again.

The staff was amazing especially the lady that helped us checked in I can’t remember her name but she is a mid age black lady with glasses and with dreads! She was the best. Me and my girlfriend said we would leave her a review I just can’t remember her name. But everywhere needs someone like that in their work place!

I booked a deluxe room and was given a standard room. When I spoke to the front desk I was told there is no difference which there clearly is. My room was small compared to the photos of the room I booked.

The staff were amazing, the restaurant and areas located on the first floor were nice, but the room was not what I expected. As soon as I stepped off of the elevator, there was a terrible smell that lingered throughout the entire floor but thankfully not the room. Upon arriving to the room I was unable to lock the bottom of the door, thankfully I travel with an additional lock as a solo traveling woman. The shower had mold or mildew and the wall was peeling from water damage. The bed was okay minus the random stain and crumbs. I found hairs on high touch surfaces that shouldn’t have had hairs if the room was cleaned (edge of sink, shower, and back of toilet). Thankfully I also had travel Lysol wipes. The staff were great, the hotel had many perks, but I will not be staying again. You certainly get what you pay for.
