Great location. Staff is very friendly. Restaurant is great. Cafe is a nice addition. Property could use a fair amount of TLC. Dents and damage to the walls (separate from the purposeful exposed brick). Intense slope to the room meant water didn't drain properly in shower and we stood in water.

The staff was awesome! The hotel was a very cool atmosphere. The only thing I was not a fan of was there were adult items on the in room bar for purchase and we were staying with my daughter. That was super awkward. Also the beds were full size not queen so was a little tight for us. And pretty sure there are handles on the beds.

I was right!
I chose to stay at Old 77 primarily for the charm of the rooms because I knew that my wife would be pleased. Secondly, its location was close enough to everything without the hassle of driving/riding Canal St. We were pleased with the experience. If you’re choosing to stay here, pull up in front of the hotel for check and hotel parking instead of pulling into the public parking lot directly across the street.
