This cabin is ideal for couples looking for a cozy and private getaway. Nestled quietly among the lush foliage of Appalachia, this cabin speaks to those who appreciate the sights and sounds of nature but still want the convenience of being close to restaurants, sightseeing, Stuart s Opera House and so much more.
The owner welcomes people from all cultures and backgrounds, and strives to provide a space where everyone is equal and should be treated accordingly.
Property adjoins Wayne National.
The owner is a few minutes away and can be available if the need arises. Owner also has private home on property.
Other things to note
There is a second cabin that is also on the property.

Please note that the cabin is tucked just inside the the woods. Although we do everything possible to deter nature’s critters, they do occasionally make an appearance. The most common in our area include mice, flying squirrels and insects include wood roaches, beetles and ants. We appreciate your your understanding!


***The cabin is set up for two individuals. Should you plan to bring more than two, we must okay this and there will be a $25.00 charger per person, per night. If not notified of additional individuals beyond the two, there will be a $50.00 per person, per night charge.

Wonderful Getaway!

My wife and I stayed here on an anniversary trip. We loved it! Peaceful, in driving distance to Hocking Hills, a quaint cabin, and the owners kept good care of it. Would stay here again.

Very nice cabin!!
Very clean and private cabin!! Check in process was easy, property owner was very helpful knowledgeably about the area! He gave me great directions and where to access the Wayne national ATV trails. Talk to a few neighbors, very friendly!! Definitely will stay here again.

Cabin was clean and in a quiet area, 33 is close but didn't really hear that traffic. Loved screened in porch, and used fire pit with plenty of wood available. Would recommend this cabin for anyone visiting the area.

Cozy Cabana
I can’t express how much we loved our stay. It is definitely a cozy cabana! The cabin was decorated for fall and was so neat and clean. We spent a lot of time on the swing on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee. Speaking of coffee, the host left us a supply of coffee and snacks. We also mentioned in our reservation that we would be spending our 34th wedding anniversary that weekend. We were delighted to find a bottle of wine, chocolates and a beautiful hand written card on the porch. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks John & Kalista.

Anniversary stay
We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary in the cabin. It was a lovely cabin tucked in the woods. We grilled out and enjoyed coffee in the morning on the screened in porch. We had a lovely stay.

the Wi Fi was sketchy, could only watch TV for a few minutes at a time and could not use my computer that I needed to keep up on my job duties and so then we had to leave 2 days early. Spoke with the owner regarding the above situation - she agreed and stated she would reimburse me one day stay. To this date, I have not received any reimbursement.

Stay at the Cozy Cabana
My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the cabana with its simple yet classy decor. I, in particular, loved the screened-in porch with the swing. It's a nice place to drink a cup of coffee in the morning or read a book during the day. I am glad the host provided directions because it was easy to take the wrong turn trying to get to the property-I did it more than once even with GPS (the street looks more like a driveway since there is no sign marking it). The only issue we had was the thermostat-it we couldn't figure out out to regulate it and it was too warm in there. I tried to reach out to the host but I didn't have my VRBO password on me and I didn't have a phone number to text. Still, we would stay again. We are glad that the host doesn't list M&M Diner on her list of recommended restaurants. After we were given coffee, four waitress walked around and ignored us even though it was evident we wanted to order. One waitress seemed to be staring at us pointedly. After several minutes of this, we got up and left. Hocking Hills Diner got our business instead. :)

This cozy cabin made for a perfect getaway. I had booked this to be able to take my mom away for a short weekend hike since she had never been to hocking hills. She loved it!
