Great location needs some major remodel work. We were there when a big storm came in which we love BUT the windows and sliding doors whistled SO loud tou couldnt sleep. And the balcony railings were pretty loud too shaking in the wind. AC was also loud so good luck sleeping. With some renovations it could be a great place like it used to be

916-Positives: The front desk staff was nice. The bathroom was clean. I enjoyed the room overall and the TV options. Negatives: This is a pet friendly hotel. We did have guests in the room beside us that had dogs and we did hear some barking, thankfully not too much. I do think that if they are a pet friendly hotel it makes sense to keep all the pet owners in the same area so that they are not disturbing other guests. Overall the room was clean but I did notice a roach on the wall and some stains on my covers. We did pay for an ocean view but when arrived it seemed more like a partial ocean view. The direct view looked out over the parking lot and we had to turn to the left to truly view the ocean. When I did mention this to the front desk the general manager Jerry stated this was a typical ocean view room. I disagree. We ordered room service from Prime 1079 restaurant. It was taking a while to receive our food so I did call and was told they had mixed up receipts and forgot which room to bring the order too. They apologized and then brought up the food quickly after correcting the error. My husband enjoyed his steak but the shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. After we were promised late check out at 12, we went to the beach and returned around 11am. When we returned housekeeping already had the room door open and was cleaning the room anyway. Our two waters were missing out of the fridge but front desk did replace when we told them what happened on the way out. So-So stay.

Third time staying. Always a great stay. Beach, pool, food all in one place. Staff is always very friendly and helpful even when super busy. Kept very clean considering it’s the beach and pets are allowed. I think they do a great job keeping the facilities clean and in great condition.

Most of the staff were friendly. Parking was a pain to say the least. Most of the time they had one entrance roped off and were charging to park even though we had a parking pass we were still inconvenienced trying to enter.

Ocean front rooms have a great view, sturdy deck, very nice pool inside and out. Staff was very courteous on the phone and in person. This section of beach is very private, great spacing.

Room was not available until after 6pm
I was not able to check in until past 6pm. I understand it was a busy weekend but I got not eta on my room and it was very uncomfortable just standing there in the lobby after I was at the beach all day. I have never had this happened to me

Housekeeping was excellent. There were two different dogs around the outside pool. One dog was in the pool. I had to go to the front desk to complain. People with dogs should be told the rules when checking in.

Not a bad weekend overall
Check in went a little slow, poor fellow had to make reservations over the phone while checking us in until help finally came. Forgot to activate keys so after many attempts opening door had to go back down. Room was great for 91yo mom, accessible bathroom, roomy, balcony nice. Until third day when first fire alarm with deafening noise and me worrying how to get mother down stairs if we needed to evacuate, and the same day our ac broke just as we were having family over for dinner. Couldn’t be fixed despite attempts by John and David, who were very professional and were able to get us the adjoining room to move into for the night. Could have been a lot worse, but new room had no accessible bathroom. Very easy for my walker-bound mom to get to the pier though and around pool, no steps. Disappointed they offered no free breakfast items at those prices, prices of breakfast offered were ludicrous. Trash cans in room are pitifully small with no plastic liners. Do offer separate recycling bin, also holds only maybe three water bottles
