Generally an excellent stay. Staff were outstanding. A couple of niggles. 1.Checking in we were required to provide photo ID. We are local and arrived by taxi. My husband made the booking and left his driver licence at home. Although my name was also on the booking my photo ID was not acceptable to the Cordis. The hassle that followed could have been avoided if there had been a reminder on the booking information. 2. Dinner cost - we had planned to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with dinner at Eight restaurant. At $148 per dinner per person it was out of our price range. We sat on the street and enjoyed fish and chips from a local takeaway

Staff were great. Property was clean but run down. Furnishings especially in the bar and resteraunt were faded and ripped. Aircon old and noisy in the room

Beautiful property from the lobby to the restaurants to the rooms! Check was quick and easy and the staff at both check in and out where amazing! The room was spacious and well appointed. Tv menu has all the info on the hotel and also the in room dining. The only thing I would say is that the rainhead shower head was very low and as im not tall it was fine but anyone with a bit of height might struggle as its over a bath. The hotel facilities were amazing especially the health centre - great range of equipment and spacious Didnt utilise the pool but it looked great! The restaurants were great loved the selection of food from the buffet in Eight and equall loved the variety of food and beverages from our land. Loved our stay at the Cordis, will definitely be back
