Not knowing Auckland and booking last minute, it was definitely in a rougher area. The room had a musty smell to it and it was very noisy during the night with people walking in and out past our door in the middle of the night.

Cannot fault the service ... receptionist was friendly & polite ... the venue is situated very central to airport & motorway & shops ... for what the rooms lacked, they were clean & tidy, had comfortable beds & great shower pressure which made it easy to overlook the need for an upgrade in decor & paint. There is obviously WIP (work in progress) in doing up the inside & outside of venue ... well done ... I'd stay again

Hotel room was large with a comfortable bed. Shuttle to the airport was timely and efficient. Surrounding gardens were well maintained. While staff were helpful and answered all questions, they could have been a bit more friendly. It would have been good to have a breakfast option as struggled to find somewhere to eat.

The facilities were not cleaned properly, trying to get coffee mugs for a coffee was difficult. Booked a queen studio with one bed for a bit more space but got put into a triple so space was very limited. It is very dated and needs repair work.

Was great a have the airport transfer included in the rate. I arrived at midnight, if I had arrived during the day I would have walked out. The cleaners appeared to have done their best but the room & furnishings were terrible i.e. cracked basin, mould in shower, stains on sheets, holes in door roughly repaired & broken safety chain, only to name a few things. There was a picture on the wall with ‘escape’ on it & that’s exactly what I wanted to do! The overall condition of the property was bad. I advise spending another $50 & stay elsewhere, there are a lot of motels & hotels that offer airport transfers.
