Great hotel - Repeat/Return Visitor
Great spot. Stayed before. Only two gripes, please bring back valet parking and you will never get the views of other 5 star hotels in Auckland which overlook the water. Other than that, the hotel is absolutely perfect in terms of every other aspect including staff willing to go above and beyond to assist.

Hotel Debrett is a hotel i choose to stay at regularly when I am in Auckland for business. The hotel is within walking distance to most things you need in the city, there are great dining options at the hotel and nearby, the rooms are spacious with a comphy bed, and most importantly the staff are fantastic greeting you with a smile and always extremely helpful

Quant and retro hotel. Bar is cozy. Room was very hot as air conditioning was not working properly. Breakfast was underwhelming. Scone was advertised as plain but chocolate turned up. Bacon was cut very thick. Coffee was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable although hard to sleep as hot. Unlikely stay again.

Excellent refurbished hotel.
This is a very old Auckland Hotel that recently had an excellent refurbishment but maintaining quite a retro look. It was very quiet, beds comfortable & usual hotel amenities. We used their private dining room for a family birthday party then stayed the night. Would I stay again? Yes.
