We loved this place!
The place was like a condo, we were in NZ for 3 weeks and this was definitely the best place we stayed. It was located in a Heritage hotel, nice large living room, kitchen (with all kitchen things needed to cook), big bedroom, washer and dryer, had a pool on the roof, fitness room, good location, 2 blocks from Sky Tower. Two Grocery stores with in a few blocks, many restaurants and bars close. The big shopping street, Queen, was a couple blocks away. Easy walk to the waterfront. My only complaint was how you pick up keys on the weekend. The keys are put basically in a small store or room, not sure how to describe, that is full of lockers in another location not to far from hotel room but there was stuff on the floor empty suitcase, sleeping bag, clothes, etc. just strewn all over this room. It made us a little nervous because we didn't know if a homeless person lived there, was there a fight, just not sure.The cleaning people were late getting the keys there but the company I felt like handed it as well as they could. There was a woman on call, she was wonderful, very friendly and had actually come in to the city to make sure everything was taken care of, she keep us updated so I felt like that was handled professionally and when she saw the room, she cleaned it up! I still would not have liked to pick the key up in this place in the evening.
