Memorable visit but for the wrong reasons
I arrived after 9:00PM Thursday and was greeted by a friendly desk manager who efficiently got me signed in and into my room. My reservation was for two nights. The room was clean and quiet but did not look as nice as the room images shown in the HOTELS.COM web-site. The carpet was wrinkled indicating either old age or possibly water damage. The bed was clean and comfortable. The TV, cable service, clock, desk phone, refrigerator, and plumbing all worked fine. The bathroom was clean but small and, like the rest of the accommodations, showed its age. There was a shower stall but no bathtub. Oddly, though I am only average height, the shower head was below eye level and oddly placed near the entry rather than centered on the wall. I had to duck down to wet and rinse my hair. The following day, Friday, after a long day in the area I came back, around 6 PM, to a Motel with no gas till Monday and a decreasing supplier of hot water. I took a tepid shower and was planning the rest of my weekend when the electricity also went out. Power went out 4-5 times that evening and was out more than it was on. It finally came on and stayed on about 1030-11PM that night. When I checked out that Saturday morning my Room Statement of $259.68 showed it had been reduced by only $11.47 (less than 2%) for the inconvenience of no lights, A/C, TV, etc for most of the previous evening and hot water that morning.

While the room was clean and Staff was very kind, This is not the best location. Empty lots and business around the motel. Very outdated in furniture. During our stay they had issues with their gas line which they said was out of their control. NO hot water for two nights. The last day we are THERE - no water pressure in our room. Could not flush toilet or take a cold shower. Barely enough water coming out of the bathroom sink to brush our teeth. Their explanation - when many rooms are using water the last room at the end of the hall has low water pressure. But we had none, just a trickle. Again the staff was nice but only offered to let us use the bathroom in another room. But by that time we were checking out. We stayed 4 days here because it was within our budget. our stay consisted us not staying in the room much.We would have checked out that wasn't the case. I would not recommend unless staying a quick overnight and just need to sleep and go.

Power, water and gas line issues!
The stay so okay. We checked in on a Thursday. That night was okay. However, there was a power outage and a gas line issue from a storm Friday evening. We had no hot water when we got back to our hotel that Friday. It was late so unable to move on. Cold showers sucks! The line wasn’t to be repaired till Monday. We checked out on the third day, Saturday, but unable to get a refund because of going through a hotel website. That was what the hotel representative told us. That totally sucked.

Gas issue, but they say it was not their fault. Thus my last day I had no hot water for a shower. Would have hoped they gave a little off the last day, like maybe $20.

Antiquated Hotel in need of Repair
This is an old, badly need of repair facility. No elevator, no usb ports, just plenty of peeling paint. Antiquated plumbing, with silver fish. Breakfast was one choice of cereal or yogurt. I don’t think I have ever stayed at a hotel that offered less.

The reviewers are correct. The place is very dated, but reasonably clean. The people are nice. The breakfast is meager. There is an abandoned restaurant across the parking lot, but it overall doesn't seem like a very bad neighborhood.
