Great place !
Was very hesitant to stay due to the construction. But they were able to give us room on the opposite side and it was very nice and quiet. Room was new and renovated and vew was nice as well. The stuff was very patient as i am super annoying customer and had lots of requests . They were very helpful and professional.

We stayed 3 nights and were placed on the side where renovations were taking place. There was no way we would have been able to sleep in because we were woken up by 8am from all the construction noise! Parking wasn’t free ($14/$7 per night) and you’re not even guaranteed a parking spot! It’s a first come first serve basis, which fills up fast. The “workout area” is pretty much the same size as a closet! However, the pool was nice and warm. Only convenience was that the hotel was a 5 minute walk to Banff Ave. I would consider staying there again once renovations are complete… it is a nice place, it just really needs the upgrade. Staff were great; checking in and out was a breeze.

The Banff Park Lodge is convenient. You can walk everywhere in Banff, and get to nice Mom & Pop restaurants within a block or two of the hotel. The food is great at the hotel. My only complaint was how tight the bathroom was, because you could not sit on the toilet without closing the door. I am not a big person, either. The most outstanding part of staying here is the EXEMPLARY customer service!!! They are QUICK to respond to any needs you might have. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property to anyone wanting to visit Banff. Great price for what you get! ...and the VIEW!!

When booking I contacted the hotel to request a renovated room after reading some reviews about ongoing renovations. Although check in was slightly delayed due to room Readiness, I’m glad the hotel was able to accommodate my request and provided a renovated room. The location and condition of the hotel are great. Additionally the indoor pool, jacuzzi, and steam room were satisfactory.
