We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect as it’s on the main street of downtown Banff and you can walk everywhere. The only little negatives is that there are a few stairs in the middle of the hallway so we couldn’t use luggage cart all the way to our room. We had a lot of luggage and we had to bring it down the stairs and do multiple trips to the room. The room was quite small and the tv was on the side of the bed instead of in front. It was not a big deal but inconvenient. Would stay there again on my next trip to Banff though. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I have seen people complain about having to walk a far distance to their rooms inside the hotel. Give me a break. Is it wonky? Yes! But it’s a room you rent for a few days. Deal with it. Perfect spot. Right in the end of busy Banff. Everything is walkable. Clean. Super friendly staff. When I come back In the spring I’ll be staying here.

The location of this hotel is great. The people at the front desk are outstanding, however, everything else? Horrid. The pillows are much smaller than a standard pillow, we had two robes in our room, one of which was old and disgusting. The fridge was clicking all night and kept us up, the walls were paper thin and we could actually hear what the people next to us were saying, there was mold in the shower and the water pressure in the shower was horrible. The hot tub hours are very strange, 10-10 so little time to actually use it if you’re only staying for one night and actually want to go around Banff too. The King room is also horribly small, hardly enough room to walk around if you’re sharing the room with one other person. The parking situation is god awful. You pay $5 a night for parking, they have MAYBE 40 parking spots for the whole hotel, so not nearly enough. If you don’t get a spot with the hotel, well, may the odds be ever in your favour. Park a mile away and pay for parking with the town of Banff. Horrible design and very poorly thought out. Would I ever stay here again? Absolutely not. Go somewhere else, we took a chance on Mount Royal instead of going to other hotels that we know we love, and it was a mistake.

It was very accessible in downtown Banff. And most important for us, was that it is near the bus station, and pick-up points for travel tours. Furthermore, it was in the heart of downtown Banff where it closeby restaurants and shops.

Hotel looks great from the outside and in an excellent location. Onsite restaurant Brazen was very good. Our room however was very small and tired. Lighting poor or burned out, toilet spewed water upon flushing. Not quite dirty but not quite clean and seemingly the room furthest away and most inconvenient to get to with long hallways and stairs. U get what u pay for I guess.

Safety and cleanliness is their top priority. A trusted place and stress free to stay! They refresh the room every day. The natural handmade local soap, coffee maker, air conditioner, heater, huge space, nice beds, the hot tub, Jacuzzi,the view outside, easy parking, they have the best restaurant. The robes, and most of all the staffs are kind and friendly. It’s worth of what we paid.

Never stayed here before and it far exceeded expectations. Location is perfect, rooms are very quiet and the bed was comfortable. They have top notch supplies as well in the room and the hot tubs and lounge are a perfect way to end an evening.
