We enjoyed our stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort. We stayed in a Mountain Cabin which was a chalet style unit. The decor was more modern than the other cabins we stayed in while on our trip, but it was clean and spacious. We enjoyed being able to start a real fire in the fireplace. Staff was very courteous and responsive to requests. The parking can be a little tight especially if you have a large vehicle.

This property is called a ‘resort’ and seems to be a misnomer since it sure didn’t feel resort-like. The bathroom floor was dirty and there was not enough toilet paper. The wifi did not work the first night we stayed, and while I understand it is not the fault of the property, we don’t know why is would take almost 24 hours to get resolved. I would not stay there again.

I just loved it here. Stayed here before and came back. Comfortable, peaceful, friendly, free regular courtesy bus into Banff… so wonderful. Price good, we love it!

It is so convenient to the town yet quiet. Bus stop right in front of property with free passes to use to avoid traffic and parking downtown. Friendly and professional staff. Would definitely stay here again

The bus picks up right in front of the hotel and they give you free bus passes. The area is quiet at night because its a ways back from Downtown. Our room temperature controls were not great, but otherwise excellent.
