Hotel was surprisingly lovely. Food in the restaurant was awful. Cold, undercooked and one of the dishes (chicken) was inedible due to the amount of beige skin.

Exceeded Expectations!
We booked last minute during on a long layover between flights to get some rest. Wish we could've stayed longer though. Check in was quick and easy. Room was spacious and comfortable. The free hotel shuttle runs was the top amenity for us and is easy to catch (pickup from the airport is every hour on the hour, and drop-offs to the airport leave the hotel 30mins past every hour). The hotel itself was much nicer and more modern than we expected. Lots of amenities offered that we wish we could've had more time to enjoy.

We stayed here because of the location near the airport. I’m not sure how you can compare another 5 star property like the Kimpton to this hotel that says they are 5 star???? The neighborhood is pretty rough. The bellman that brought our bags yo the room like lingered waiting for a tip. I had to shoo him out. The room looked like it may have had some upgrades but smelled musty and it kept me up all night. The bathroom…really needs an upgrade. The air conditioner was fine but may have been blowing the musty air. The concierge was helpful. The hallways were hot and therefore had an old musty spell. 100% NOT 5 star.

This hotel is situated very close to the airport and is a good rest stop if you need to catch a flight or are on a stopover. However, it is certainly not at the standard of a 5 star hotel. Despite the appearance of the lobby and restaurant, the rooms appear dated and in need of an overhaul. The rooms were generally clean and stocked with bathrobes and slippers. But the towels and bathrooms though clean were very worn. The bathroom tiles and floor were stained and metal work rusting in places. It appears that in its heyday the hotel may well have been up to a 5 star standard but over the years has become worn out and under maintained leaving more like a 3/4 star hotel.
