We came in to check into this hotel late at night expecting a comfortable stay, instead we were met with a freezing cold room in late October. The only redemption was that after complaining for a second time they switched our room... Elevator was dirty and also not working. Towels had stains as did carpet. For the amount paid for the area we stayed I expected much better. This was less than a comfort inn experience honestly. I would not choose this facility again if I had the chance.

The A/C wasn't working in my room. The first two days were warm in DC that's why I didn't notice. I didn't tell the staff because I didn't want to move rooms. I had only 4 nights in DC.

The hotel did not honor the info in the Special Instructions section of my reservation. The hotel representative stated I needed to contact Travelocity to correct the problem. The hotel did not honor the breakfast or dinner that states it is included under the special Instructions. The info says pet friendly but it is more like pet tolerant. I called TWICE to be sure our room was on the 1st floor and was never told that it would be the third floor at best. We were traveling with a puppy and would have chosen a different hotel without the need of an elevator. Other than that, this is a very nice place with friendly people. Cashless, though, without a way to get tip change.

It’s the morning after a long day of work the day before, and you’re hoping to take advantage of your late checkout. You had covered the window with curtain, and you’re snugly in the bed in pitch dark. Suddenly, you hear knocking on the door. You look at the clock and it’s 8:30am. Confused, you go to the door, half-naked, and a cleaning crew is standing outside. She asks you when you are checking out… The hotel needs to train their staff properly in hospitality.
