Attention: Active Wildlife in the Area

Our area of WNC is currently experiencing increased wildlife activity, particularly from bears. While it’s a privilege to share our environment with these magnificent creatures, it’s essential that we all take precautions to ensure our safety and theirs.

Please follow these guidelines:

Secure all food and garbage: Bears are attracted to strong smells. Do not leave food in your car and reattach bungee cords to trash can lids every time.
Be aware of your surroundings: Stay alert, especially during dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active.
Avoid close encounters: If you see a bear or other wildlife, maintain a safe distance and do not approach.
Travel in groups: When possible, hike or explore with others, and make noise to alert animals of your presence. Keep dogs leashed at all times.
Your cooperation is crucial in maintaining a safe and harmonious environment for everyone. Thank you for your attention and care.

Nice cabin
Cabin was nice. GPS coming from Florida brought us down a one land mountain road. Need better cleaning. Dead bugs on window seal. Dirty floor. Property manager was great at responding and addressing issues. Needs to replace beds soon.. squeaking was a bit much.

Vacation 24
The cabin was a nice size, fit the 4 of us well. The dogs were very happy too! Plenty of dishes cookware and full size stove/fridge. Enjoyed evenings at the fire pit. The hot tub was green not just because of the type of water (copper in it), when adjusting the jets brown murky water came out. The master bed sounded as if it was going to fall apart. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. All the activities we wanted to attend were close to the cabin making it easy to take day trips.

I did notice that gutter starting fall off. Board that was holding up roof was not connected. Railing was loose as well. Other than that it was wonderful place. Just wasn’t sure if anybody made aware of these things. Also hot tub needs leveling.

Amazing stay
The property was very well kept and the cabin was very nice. Check in was so easy and the information book that was in the cabin was very well put together. Everything about the stay was good. The only thing that could have made it a little better was to have some type of awning over the hot tub. It rained on 2 evening and we couldnt use the hot tub. It would also help keep leaves from falling in it when its being used.

Perfect tiny cabin
My family and I stayed here over the thanksgiving holiday. What a wonderful little cabin, has everything you need to get away. WiFi is very spotty but that’s okay because we were there to relax and unplug. The view from the porch is wonderful. Loved the hot tub and the fire pit area as well.

Stay
When we arrived at our house we noticed how little yard we had. A bit disappointing being we brought pets. Picture wasn’t terrific on the website. The house was very clean and well kept. Being business owners Internet was important for us and unfortunately we had 0 the entire stay. The log cabin did offer amenities of dishes and even spices which was nice. The dryer was extremely annoying because the belt squeaked the entire cycle of the dryer being on. The range oven wouldn’t go above preheat as well so cooking in stove wasn’t an option. The staff who manages the place was very nice but our impression is things need to improve greatly before we would stay at this rental again. We don’t want to discourage others as it might be what they are interested in, it just wasn’t up to our standards for what we need as family.

Relaxing in the Smokies
I saw this property while searching for a cabin in Gatlinburg. The price was great and the location was wonderful. We took 2 thirteen year old boys that really relished it. They played card games and other games, they also rambled through the woods , which they really enjoyed. MAMAW and PAPAW relaxed. Great place to stay.

Little Cabin in the Woods
We had a very nice time exploring. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The clothes dryer has a bearing going out, so it's pretty loud. However, it dries clothing very well! The cabin is on well water so it did have a very unpleasant odor for the first two days. The water also turned orange on day 3, but the office manager had someone out to fix it right away. The property manager responded quickly to each issue we had and the problem was immediately corrected. We would certainly stay again.

We had a great trip. With 4 kids it's difficult to find somewhere affordable, but this was great. Steep climb up the mountain if you are not used to it and it was out there a ways, but no complaints.
