This cozy home features original hardwood floors and exposed brick walls, as well as modern appliances in the spacious country kitchen.

Perfect location
This is a beautiful restored home with a wonderful history. It is within easy walking distance to downtown Salida, but in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay!

Theme is beautifully restored. Has the 1880's vibe with appropriate furnitures and fixtures. But also modern touches, technology and comfort such as in the kitchen. We found it restful, roomy and comfortable. Would stay again.

This is a really cute house and the pictures are accurate—the other reviews were helpful and accurate too. The house is warm in summer, “Rocky Mountain air conditioning” notwithstanding. The bathroom is a beautiful and functional remodel—the kitchen is great. The mattresses were comfortable but the rest of the furniture could use an upgrade—good enough for a rental, I guess!! Location was fabulous. Lose to everything, beautiful town.

Nice Stay in Salida
My best friend and I enjoyed our stay at your home. I had flown out from Florida to hang out, play some golf, and take in a music concert out of Buena Vista. I had never been to this region of Colorado, and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful landscape of the area. We enjoyed the property's proximity to downtown Salida since we could walk to go out to eat and get some supplies. We slept great, laughed a lot, and would definitely come back to your home if the opportunity arises again.

Cute little house in great location!
My daughter and I had a fantastic trip to Salida and truly enjoyed our stay at Honan house. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was lovely and there were plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable. It was hot in town (90s), and the bedrooms were a tad on the warm side, but not too hot. As others said, the outdoor area could be improved. A couple chairs on the front porch would be nice. Some sort of fence in the backyard would also be appreciated.

Stay in town Salida - cute historic home
This historic home has been nicely renovated. Loved the inside finishes with fully loaded full kitchen. Perfect for family of 2-4. Our girls enjoyed their own rooms and games too! Easy walking distance to downtown and short drive to the mountains. Piñon vacation rentals was fantastic! They provided easy check in process and home information, local information and prompt replies for any questions and concerns we had. We will definitely look at renting one of their properties again in the future!

Cute house and nice stay
It was a pretty cute house and ideal setup for a family of 4. We loved the beautiful exposed brick wall interior and the renovated bathroom. The location is great and we’ve enjoyed it being close to the Alpine park, library, grocery store and restaurants. Expect that some of the kitchenware needed to be upgraded (e.g. both Teflon pans were heavily flaking) and the washing machine/dryer were out-of-service, it was a perfect stay.
