We initially stayed at Sunset Beach and were transferred to Pueblo Bonito Pacifica All adults. That hotel was excellent! Great service from Pueblo Bonito transferring us to this newer hotel. Sunset Beach rooms were run down.

The food was excellent. The property was beautiful and well kept. The staff was friendly and happy to help. Pools and food options were great. This would be a clear 5 star…. But the food service was extremely slow. We waited an hour and a half for pizza and 45 minutes for a churro. We also waiting 45 minutes for a shuttle as 4-5 empty shuttles drove right past us.

NEVER AGAIN!! There are not enough characters for this review. Terrible service. Upcharge on all inclusive, food is gross, staff is rude, not enough chairs for the over crowded pools, we waited 7 hours for towels multiple days, had water pour through our ceiling twice which was left standing and we had to throw a fit to get it cleaned up, resort is too big to service the amount of people they cram inside. Not enough restaurants, wait times are hours for ordering and for any services. Room was nice and had a great view… don’t worry we paid extra for that upon arrival too.

The property is beautiful but service is terrible and food is average. You can’t move around the property without taking a golf cart. Staff aren’t helpful and don’t appear to take pride of what they are doing. Dinners were all slow. Staff apologized and continued to say the kitchen was behind, the property was at capacity etc. etc. it is absolutely missing the personal feel and amenities of a luxury resort. Spend your money somewhere that actually cares about your experience.

Resort is beautiful but was disappointed on worn out beds and air conditioning that emanated a very moldy mildew smell. It was so bad I got a headache. Once we shut off the air conditioner and aired out the room the smell abated. The view was great and the staff were friendly. Was a little disappointed the beach is not swimmable. Also it was nearly impossible to get a lounge chair at any of the pools. People would show up early in the morning to claim loungers then not use them all day. Of course that is not the resorts fault but a reflection on the inconsiderate behavior of our fellow guests.

While Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach boasts stunning views, my experience was marred by several issues that made the stay far less enjoyable than anticipated. The Good The location is breathtaking, perched on cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the architecture blends well with the natural surroundings. My room offered a fantastic ocean view, which was the highlight of the stay. The Bad 1. Room Issues: The in-room hot tub, a key feature I was looking forward to, was not functional throughout my stay. Despite reporting the issue, it wasn’t addressed. Adding to the frustration, there was a ceiling leak near the bed on the final night. 2. Dining: The dining experience was average. While there were several restaurants, the food lacked flavor and creativity. For the price and the resort’s reputation, I expected more. 3. Service: Service was disappointing. Requests for assistance with the hot tub and leak were either ignored or delayed. At the pool and restaurants, service was slow, and some staff seemed disinterested or overwhelmed. Amenities The pools and resort grounds are as beautiful as advertised, and the golf cart transportation is helpful. However, these positives couldn’t make up for the frustrations with the room and service. Final Thoughts Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach has the potential to be an incredible resort, but poor maintenance and service issues made my stay underwhelming.

A Spectacular Stay at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Our stay at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the accommodations exceeded all expectations. The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make every corner feel like a postcard moment. The grounds are immaculate, and the serene ambiance truly makes it a paradise getaway. The service at the pools was exceptional, and we want to give a special shout-out to Adan, Felix, Christian, and Angel, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor added so much to our experience. We were also fortunate to attend the New Year’s Eve event, which was impeccably organized with incredible attention to detail. Antonio’s warm and professional service stood out and made the night even more memorable. Additionally, we dined at Zao Shene, where Antonio once again provided phenomenal service, making the meal an unforgettable culinary experience. Another highlight was our dinner at Fellini’s. Bartolo was outstanding—his knowledge of the menu, impeccable service, and genuine kindness elevated our evening. It was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Every staff member we encountered contributed to the incredible experience. Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is a gem, and we can’t wait to return for another unforgettable stay. Highly recommend!
