Nice, pet friendly hotel in the downtown of Calgary. The only complaint I have is that we had no water pressure on 17th floor so showering was difficult.

During my recent visit to Calgary, I had the pleasure of staying at the Delta Marriott Downtown, and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. Despite arriving in the very early hours due to a significant flight delay, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made me feel welcome immediately, even at such an inconvenient hour. The hotel itself was immaculate. My room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and perfectly set up for a restful stay. The on-site restaurant and coffee shop were also fantastic. The restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious options, and the coffee shop provided a great start to my mornings with excellent coffee and pastries. The only downside was the lack of an airport shuttle, which would have been incredibly convenient, especially given my late arrival. However, the overall quality of the stay and the exceptional service more than made up for this minor inconvenience. I highly recommend the Delta Marriott Downtown for its comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding staff who truly go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable.

Excellent location Calgary downtown
We had an excellent stay at Delta Downtown Calgary. The room was excellent and the included breakfast was sufficient. The location is very good. The only issue we had is finding information on things to do. We asked the hotel staff twice and the best response was shopping downtown. To make this worse they failed to tell us about the +15 walkways that connect the hotel to other buildings and shopping centres in the CBD. After we figured this out ourselves, our stay was quite enjoyable.

At check in we were told we got a “complimentary upgrade”, it was not an upgrade- the room was the same as what I booked and we just over looked the city, which was noisy. I’d recommend trying to get river side view if you could. The property was conveniently located for what we were visiting Calgary for. Rooms were pretty basic, but clean.

I did NOT like being charged on credit card 27$ approximately for overnight parking because the hotel does not own their own underground parking facility. This should be provided for free when you pay approximately 189.88$ for a one night stay.

Love the second floor Plus 15 network (skywalk) in downtown Calgary. I had an appointment at Harry Hays Building and stayed at Delta. Since it’s right across the street, I could use the skywalk and didn’t have to go outside. Truly a blessing in the freezing cold weather.
