I was disappointed in my stay the Malcolm. The heat in my room did not work so I was moved to an “equivalent” room, another king suite, however it was in a smoking section and my room smelled of smoke for my 3 night stay. The light above the sitting area did not work which was unfortunate as it was the only chair to sit in for reading / working which was my intention for my working holiday. The bathroom had a strong smell of septic waste. The shower only ran very hot water so it could not be used. The hotel overall is stunning - lobby and amenities are gorgeous and feels like a 5 star experience. I was disappointed by the start contrast when comparing to my room and all of the issues I experienced, especially considering I paid for a premium room. I will not return and do not recommend this property.

This hotel is a 1 star motel charging 5 star prices. The beds suck and pillows unusable. The pool is small, dirty, and cold. The hot tubs are the same. Overall i felt ripped off for spending so much to stay there. There are WAY better hotels that are cheaper and actually have warm hot pools (moose). If i could get a full refund i would. But instead ill make sure i tell everyone how awful the Malcolm was.

Its amazing! Really worth the price, I have stayed at many named hotels but this really matches the luxury and the property is upto the new and modern design. They acknowledged my birthday and gave me some goodies !

I travel A LOT for work so I’ve had a lot of experience with hotels. I chose this one for our vacation and I couldn’t be happier. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. The hotel was very well decorated, the room was perfect and the view was breathtaking. The restaurant experience could have been a bit better but they were absolutely packed. Overall, I’d like to thank the staff for a wonderful experience and I look forward to staying again!

Typically we stay at another resort style hotel for NYE but wanted to try something new this year. It was a big disappointment to find out that our only option to ordering any type of drink or late night snack was to order it to our room since the entire lounge and restaurant were booked for a private event. This is something guests should be notified of in advance. Noise is also a major issue on the 3rd floor. We initially thought it was the people above us and when asked if we could move rooms if they were staying, we were told they were checking out. The noise continued with loud stomps that would vibrate the hanging light fixtures. We realized it was people running in the hallway above that vibrates right through the floor. Perhaps the running is less common throughout the year as it was NYE so we would give it a pass. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay but nothing special and we will stick to the other resort that has more going on for the Christmas/NYE holidays.
