We found the motel was really convenient as far as location and eating. The fresh food markets were across the roads and Westfields shopping centre 5 mins walk up the road. The motel is old and decor tired but it was reasonable rates and clean which is all you need.

Reception closed at 9:30am so I couldn't check out. Even though staff hours was supposed to be 8-11am. Rang the after-hours phone and it went to an answering machine. Left my phone number for them to call me back. It is now over 8 hours later and no one has called me back still.

The site is showing its age, but there are renovations occurring so it's not so bad and should improve as that progresses. Hopefully there will be more hanging rails in the bathroom for towels. The bathroom was good for wheelchair bound or disabled people. It's a quiet location and a short walk to the food market where you'll find a variety of cafes.

The room was fine. On the second day the room cleaning staff forgot to clean remake our room. They had left for the day so it wasn’t done. Front office staff gave us some fresh towels. Rubbish bin in the room was never emptied.

Great location, the bed was clean and very comfortable, but the room was shabby with paint chips in door jambs and the curtains not installed properly on their tracks, the carpet had seen better days, all small maintenance items that are easily fixed, it was a bit of a turnoff but really for the cost it was a great stay.
