It was a very average property that was aging but seemed to be clean. The upstairs had very strong food smells all night and even into the morning. It was OK for overnight and was underpriced for most hotels theses days. It was just a place to lay our heads that night..

What You'd Expect, for a Fair Price
I got a clean room and a good night's sleep. Just soap in the bathroom, no breakfast (just coffee). No food options in the immediate vicinity but you could not be much closer to an airport. The staff were all friendly. I'd stay here again.

This property is in a nice location if you are wanting to explore crab orchard lake or Shawnee national forest. However, this was our first time to the area and we booked what we could find. This property isn’t clean, the pool is closed, and somehow we flipped the breaker trying to heat up pasta in our microwave. Overnight, my whole foot found a hole in the bedspread and got stuck. In the morning, I was using the restroom and so was a spider and a roach. We booked a king and got asked numerous times if we needed 2 beds because we are 2 women but no, we do not need 2 beds. That’s why we booked what we did. All in all, no. Do not come here even tho there are numerous “good” reviews. I’m not sure who those people are but there is no way they stayed where we did.

Absolutely no amenities. The man at the desk gave me a look that would kill when I ask for some shampoo. No breakfast or any snacks or fruit- just one pot of coffee. Air conditioning was shut down during the night. The owners must have come directly from India, where there is minimal service and facilities. I didn't pay much for the room, and I didn't get much for my money.

This hotel is a great value for the money! Not many amenities other than coffee, but it is clean and located in a safe area! Will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Our group had 6 rooms and everyone was satisfied!
