Well I make my reservations there at least 6 months in advance. I requested a 1st floor room but was put on the 3rd floor. I was informed that there is an elevator (of course) but that is not my issue. The woman at the desk just said they were to busy. I stay there twice a year. I felt that I was just brushed off.

If you wish quietude - ask for the back rooms, not facing the main road. Other than that - heartily recommended! Our stay was very comfortable and the room was roomy. As other comments have noted, the place is old, and shabby. But clean. Our “deluxe” room had a large frig, not mini, which we really needed and was much appreciated. Breakfast area was bright and pleasant, offerings were minimal but adequate.
