We stayed during a thunder storm and the power went out for a couple hours. They were running a generator and the noise and exhaust was coming right in our window.

Hot tub was great but terrible customer service. Reserved one night on expedia then added 2nd night. Called front desk with request for combined 2 nights stay and told it would be no problem. But worker called back and said she was "new" and did something with the reservation she "shouldn't" and that to fix it I should go through Expedia. I did and Expedia sent them messages requesting combined 2 nights. But when I arrived, I was charged not one, but two security deposits for the one room and required to check out and check back in. My keys were deactivated during my stay and front desk called to kick me out at "check out" after 1st night despite my having paid for 2 nights and being in the same room. Tried to get new keys with my things locked in the room, but the new keys they gave wouldn't work either. Housekeepers disturbed us 3 times with no "do not disturb" signs to use and they only apologized then moved on. On the 3rd time housekeeping knocked and tried to come in, they apologized and said "wrong room." They could have at least offered to make the bed or give fresh towels after hassling us, but they didn't. Seems employees need increased or improved training on customer service. I've stayed previosly so was disappointed how service has declined since my last stay 3 years ago.

It was a very pleasant stay for an affordable price, maybe they can give a little bit more of maintenance to some outside areas but in general I recommend this place if you’re looking a peaceful stay.

This was out second visit. The first time we were so charmed by this place. We had a 3rd floor room with a hot tub and it was so quiet. So we went back. Ehem. We were greated by the noxious odor of cigarette smoke. Our 1st floor room smelled weird and when we went to open a window, more cigarette smoke. People were walking by and the neighbors smoked like the place was a homeless shelter. We complained and the neighbors moved once, watched us while smoking and flipping us off, then returned to smoking on their patio. With such permissive rules, its not exactly a place for welness and mountain air. The rooms are subpare so we were only there for the mineral water hot tub. Ruined by not being a smoke free property. We wont be back.

Perfect stay
There’s a hot pool and a cold plunge pool, I used both, everyday. The property is secluded, lots of trees and nature. The room was great. Cold AC, lots of parking, not very many children, very quiet, good for a romantic getaway, they offer spa services and there’s also a fire pit. Find stuff to do in the Gorge and go check it out. Lots to do nearby. Zip lining, hiking, e-bike rentals, waterfalls, windsurfing, etc, close to all that stuff though it is $3 every time you go over the bridge into Oregon. I spent $20+ on tolls in just a few days because I was going back and forth adventuring on both sides of the river. The restaurants nearby are underwhelming and it’s not in walking distance to anything.

A fun and quirky place with a variety of options for soaking in the mineral waters. The old bath house is a step back in time and quite amazing. Our room was clean and well equipped, with a small fridge. The golf course and club house are very close and a good option for breakfast. I’d also recommend Backwoods Brewing, a short drive, for dinner and beer. Excellent pizza.
