It was about to be stormy which May account for poor TV reception. The people were fantastic! I lived meeting all from foreign countries. Loved that you were pet friendly and had so many amenities a pretty gardens!

Hotel room was fine. Could see daylight from the door going to the outside courtyard.. one of the woman at the front desk staff wasn’t the friendliest but everyone else was nice. Check in took a long time. There were two parties in front of us, plus a third that jumped in front of our family. The front desk staff took a very long time with them and going over the map. When we checked in, the lady who wasn’t the friendliest didn’t take much time with us or explain anything. Maybe just overwhelmed but we ended up confused about the room service credit and having no info on how to get to the outdoor pool/water activities on the lake.

Our stay at the High Peaks Resort exceeded our expectations in every way! The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location can’t be beat. Highly recommend!

High peaks is a perfect location. Walkable to anything, convenient to everything. Restaurant right in the hotel-GREAT SERVICE & FOOD! Beautiful views & very quiet when we went(Memorial weekend!) we will definitely return, maybe with the kids next time. thank you!

Everything from the property was as expected but the surrounding around the lake in this area is surrounded by some back flies which bite and draw blood. This is not in any manner related to High Peaks Resort but affects the entire area around Mother’s Day to Father’s Day.

Second time around not so great
We stayed here 7 years ago and was very impressed. Not so much this time. The as staff was rude and not accommodating, the room lacked lots of items that we had to call for a wait a while to get, balcony was really dirty, and there were no pool towels lots of times we went to the pool so had to bring old ones and reuse them.
