Best views for Loy Krathong parade
When we booked/reserved this hotel earlier in the year, we didn't realise it would be during the Loy Krathong festival. However, it was a blessing in disguise as the front of the hotel was where the parade passed through not just on our first night but our second night too. We got to experience the festival from the comfort of the main balcony/patio area for guests. On top of this, the hotel gifted us a Krathong to put in the river, which was a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is in a very convenient location, quiet and relaxing. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. The downside would be the bathroom smells a bit damp. Otherwise, all good.

Excelllent hotel very zen and peaceful. House keeping was on top of their game. Rooms are a little small if you get 2 beds but if you get one single bed it’s very good and romantic for those who care

Ban Chang Tong is lovely quiet hotel with beautiful wooden architecture and an authentic aesthetic. Close walking distance into old Chang Mai city, everything was easy and accessible. The staff were absolutely wonderful, kind and accomodating. I highly recommend :)

Overall is a good place to stay. Not the best layout in the bathroom, was kind of difficult to move around, poor ventilation and lack of privacy (divided from the room by a frosted glass) besides that the room was very charming, clean and comfortable

Property looked nice, However that’s about it. The bed was rock hard with only 2 pillows for two people, no iron and pool was cold. The shower there was no pressure and the hot water went in cycle on and off, so don’t expect a hot shower. Staff were friendly but not very helpful.

Real modern and aestheticially pleasing hotel. Staff are great and will help you with anything you need. Our room was small and the bathroom had an slight odor, it was cleaned but the smell persisted. Despite that,I would stay at this hotel again.

The room had lovely four poster bed and was large and comfortable. There’s a nice but cold plunge pool ideal for after looking around at temples. I would have liked a bar and also the internet wasn’t brilliant but as I didn’t use it much it didn’t matter
