Initially we were placed in a room near the lifts. The room was very noisy from lift sounds. We were moved to another room due to noises. This next room was smaller but main complaint I have staying in a 5 star hotel is that we didn’t have any bottled water or milk in the room and the spot in the bathroom where I believe the water filter tap was supposed to be was just a hole in the bench. Also not even a biscuit to have with a cup of tea.

On level 39 the sound of construction work during the day all day was unbearable and incredibly loud. I was not informed by staff that it would be taking place which would have been very much appreciated. Also cleaning staff, although very polite, would knock on the door or try to enter the room every day despite the 'do not disturb' sign being on, which has never happened before. I stay regularly at the Hilton but probably won't stay there again.

The attention to detail and the high end products in the rooms were just fabulous! The professionalism and kindness of the restaurant staff was of such a high standard, it was so very refreshing! The first room I was assigned was lovely but next to the elevator bank and had excessive noise. This needs to be rectified or the rooms offered to hard of hearing customers or significantly discounted price. The final room was perfect albeit more expensive.

This was our second time back within a few weeks. We loved the hotel and location the first time and proof to me is always in the second visit. It did not disappoint. Another perfect stay at The Hilton. Recognition from the hotel on our return visit. We booked 2 rooms to bring family and we all had a positive experience, Thank you for everything Hilton. Five stars all the way. We will be back. For anyone considering a stay, note this hotel is spacious, beds comfortable, lovely appointed bathrooms and amenities along with a fabulous location. Light rail at the door along with all shopping your heart desires. Only a short flat walk to the harbour. I am now a Hilton convert. Thank you we will be back

A little bit of a sanctuary from the streets below
Modern and stylish, the Sydney Hilton is a business class establishment right in the heart of the Sydney CBD. The Hotel offers everything you could expect or want from a 5 star establishment. The very quiet rooms are a nice sanctuary from he hustle and bustle on the streets below.
