The hotel itself is a great deal for the price! Pros: comfy beds and pillows. Excellent full breakfast! Room was cool not typical for summer heat. Cons: had to pay $105 for a deposit and some tax not charged on hotels.com. What's up with that? Not ever had to do that before with hotels.com. Safety latch was broken on door so we had to push fridge in front of door. Hardwood floor was sticky/wet all night possibly due to how cool room was? (See pro comment) Overall great little older hotel in remodel process. Staff was handling a situation with a drunken/high passersby when we arrived which was a little disconcerting but area seemed decent otherwise.

The AC did not work sufficiently and we were miserable on the 3rd floor. The elevator was out so we had to carry all of our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The room was not clean as we had hair and debris in the tub and the door to the bathroom was covered in dirty black hand prints. It looked as though it had never been wiped clean. Very disappointing!

PLEASE DON’T STAY HERE!!!
The bathroom was dirty and had hair in the tub. During our 4 night stay I asked twice to have our room made up with fresh towels and it was never done. I spoke to the front desk and to the housekeeping staff directly and was assured that it would be done but it never once, NOT IN FOUR DAYS! I was told by a housekeeping staff member that if I wanted fresh towels that I would have to go ask for them at the front desk. The tile floor in the room was filthy and sticky as well. The toilet seat was broken and the bathroom sink faucet was broken. There was a trash can under the sink in the kitchenette area that had not been emptied from the previous guests. When we arrived the lady at the front desk was very kind and I enjoyed speaking with her. She was the ONLY bright spot in our entire stay. I believe her name was Cheri. The rest of the staff was rude and dismissive. When I asked for four towels at the front desk of another staff member I was told I could only have two towels. I told her there were four of us in the room (which I paid for). She told me if I wanted more towels in our room someone else would have to come ask for them because she could only give me two! I have learned my lesson about staying with this hotel and this chain. NEVER AGAIN!

Would not recommend this hotel. Got to the hotel and waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me in. This was after other guests watching me told me to yell for them (twice) to come from the back room where I was told she was helping with laundry. Could be true, they were still cleaning rooms after 7PM. Only had 2 towels and a wash cloth in the bathroom. By chance, I met someone in the hall telling me that the other towels were left at the front desk. (no message left on phone) Toilet paper holder fell off the wall and toilet kept running.

Do not stay here. The staff is awful. Failed to clean the room after our first night. went to the desk to ask for towels and was sent back to the room to get the old towels. I got an idea, how about you provide the service that you bill for. STAY AWAY!
