Well located in a pretty quiet area.(Our stay was mid week so this may have some bearing on it). Whilst an older building the place has been scrubbed up and refurbed. The references to politics are interesting, though the depiction of Nancy Butterfield is misleading because she is not a very prominent example of a female politician from the past. The bar and dining facilities are very good, except for the 'expensive' bottle of 'we've never heard of the winery pinot' at $49 a bottle.

Great staff. Quiet room. Clean and comfortable. Bed was good. Super warm shower. Nice balcony. Food was perfect in their dine in section (and you can dine in your room). The hotel was fine, the restaurant was great, so was the food and the staff. I would use it again, but not in the same room or that section of the building, as there was a compressor that kept on kicking in 24 hours. Daytime is ok, but during the stillness of the night is sounds terrible and kept me from having a good sleep. Whatever the noise, let someone have a look at it.

The property doesn't look very flash from the outside but the rooms are modern and clean. We had a comfortable bed and quiet room, apart from the usual shower noise from adjoining rooms. There is dining available at the site if required. Auto check-in works well with a code sent to you on the day if check-in to open the electronic door locks. There is 'stairs only' access to most rooms.
