We made a mistake by taking the Bruce 2 br suite. While attractive and nicely decorated, chairs and beds uncomfortable (noisy)! Bathroom cold, doors didnā€™t shut, drain very slow, just old looking.

This was our second visit to Berry Hill and what really drove us back was the food- the food here is excellent! We could not get enough of the delicious food and drink. It would have been nice if, when we checked in, someone told us that they advise you to make reservations. Priority in the restaurant seating is not given to hotel guests. Also, the suite my family and I stayed in was beautiful but the doorknob was non-functional. I understand wanting to preserve the integrity of the original hardware in the mansion but that presented an issue of safety. All we had was a deadbolt. Overall, Berry Hill is a beautiful, peaceful place to have a getaway!

The property had beautiful surroundings - lots of trees and sprawling lawns. The indoor pool was so warm, and the building with the pool was so clean. Some of the furniture in the room was aged and warn, and the rollaway cot was horrible to sleep on. Check in was a tad slow, but the service was generally friendly.
