I have been 3 vacation seasons in Aku Tiki; always liked; but after the last hurricane, remodeling is very poor; not any “Safe for values in the rooms; shower has signal of glue everywhere in; bathroom door locked me and thanks to my wife was watching tv…; exit room door hard to open; not any napkins in the room ; mattress The mattress pads on both beds slide to one side when you try to lie down. Outside: tiki bar was closed every day; gardens need attention soon. Some people were smoking pots in the stair ways. I recommend to rent in another hotel if The Aku Tiki property management personal don’t fix all issues. I don’t comeback any more.

I booked a room for ocean view and ended up with semi ocean view. I don’t feel I should be charged for ocean view when I didn’t get a complete ocean view. Also the shower was not clean when we arrived. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel, the rooms has been upgraded, front beach, clean and comfortable. My unique concern is they offer kitchen but any utensils to cook!!

It was a great stay all together! The rooms were clean and ready, with a beautiful ocean view and great staff. My only complaint is that there was a cockroach in our bathroom (I get it, its Florida) and there weren't beach towels to use. We had to go buy some which isnt that big of a deal. Just something that we were unprepared for. We loved the happy hour and the beach location, and the boardwalk was about an hour walk along the beach. It was very enjoyable! Would definitely go again!

Staff was friendly, it was nice having a tiki bar by the pool and restaurant onsite. The food was good and reasonably priced. The a/c didn’t work very well and the “mini fridge” was actually a wine fridge that was off when we arrived to our room and never got cold even after 24 hours and leaked water all over our floor. We stayed on the 4th floor and there was no ice machine or vending machine. I couldn’t find a trash can to empty my trash anywhere and ended up having to go all the way out to the parking lot to find one. The hotel has two elevators and one was out of order so it was always a really long wait. The rooms were pretty clean and the view was great.
