Liked the resort. Its location by the water is very nice. We stayed at villa 5 and when we arrived the elevator did not work. We walked about the four flights of stairs to bring our luggage up. The coffee bar had weird hours. They were never posted and their restaurant coffee was awful. But the staff is very friendly and overall we had great meals at Delfinos and Stix. Atlantic Grille had good lunch options and they were able to accommodate our vegetarian/plant based tastes. The resort was very quiet when we stayed but we had a good time.

We enjoyed this resort very much. The property is beautiful. The rooms are old fashioned and I felt uncomfortable with the check out process because the cleaning person stood putside the door waiting for us to leave the room and the staff began calling at 1105 and would hang up when we answered the room phone. I traveled with an infant and left the room 20 minutes after 11 so I felt the pressure was a bit much.

A lovely place to stay
We loved our second stay at this resort. All the facilities are well maintained and taken care of. The rooms have a lot of space and very comfy. The staff provided us really good service. The kids had a great time using the facilities and the beach was beautiful

Enjoyable Family Getaway
We enjoyed our short stay here. The pool is nice and the grounds are lovely. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a nice 3 bedroom condo. The description on the hotels.com website is incomplete - there were 3 bedrooms AND 3 bathrooms. Spacious and comfortable. Very family friendly. Would return here again.

Hidden gem... We wanted a weekend away and after a quick search we found the Hammock. We reserved a room in a flash and arrived next day greeted by Collin at the front desk. Collin took careful note of our asks and worked to meet them in the best way possible. Collin found us a great room and we started our weekend on a very positive note. Over the course of the next two days we interacted with several staff members that made our stay very special, from Kyle at the hotel's arrival, to Jacqueline in the lobby/front desk to Gianni at the golf facilities. At a couple of times we had a couple of items to take care of and once again Collin stepped up and went above and beyond to assist us. We were very happy with his service, and believed that he is the hidden gem in this hotel. The beach was nice, the golf course superb, and having breakfast, lunch, and dinner all in one place, along with nice guests to meet and chat with made this stay very very pleasant.

Website oversells the luxury aspect.
First we paid extra for a premium room; which the website said meant it was renovated; the room was probably last renovated in the 1970s. It was very dated and smelled musty. Grime in every corner. For almost $350 a night we felt it was a rip off. Second the food on the property was subpar and way too expensive. We got breakfast at the lobby cafe and my bagel was moldy. Service to fix it was great and they did offer a replacement item. So not a total loss. Everywhere else we ate (pizza parlor and pub) though was just meh. The only positives for us were the grounds and the pool, they’re beautiful. The pool was nice and the servers did a great job. Overall I would not recommend it for the price.
